Post types

• Normal posts: original post can be modified by anyone, or comments can be added
• Read-only posts: original post can be modified only by the author, but comments can be added by anyone
• Private posts: can only be seen by the author

Workgroup features

• Overview of lasts posts by both user and by group members
• Reminders can be attached to a post, for a range of dates and multiple users
• Email notifications (under development)

Working with attachments

• Any number of documents of files can be attached to a post
• For certain file types (PDF, Word DOC, OpenOffice, ...) the content is parsed and made available to the XML database for indexing

Search functions

• Search on "Title", "Title and Content" or "Title, Content and Attachments"
• Complex searches using boolean operators and wildcards
• Search by categories
• Very fast full-text searches of all contents (includign attachments), because the data is stored in NaX Base, an XML database optimised for search speed

Administrator features

• Create, activate and deactivate users
• Create catgories of posts
• Decide wihich users have access to which categories of posts
• Manage disk quotas

Data analysis

• Find "related keywords" (under development)
• Find "related posts" (under development)
• Show most popular keyowrds and topics (under development)

Privacy

• Access via https available
• All data resides on a server dedicated to Sikoba and with advanced protection against unauthorised access
• Data of separate workgroups is kept separately in the system
